Strenafoods Limited is a young food wholesale company whose aim is to facilitate
the export of high-quality Italian foods and beverages.
The Website
As a first step to fulfilling our aim, we have developed the strenafoods.com website.
When developing the website, we have paid particular attention to usability, so
that even the less-technical people will be able to browse our products, place an
order and get support if needed. We have also tried to knock down linguistic barriers
by localizing the website in a number of languages.
The Suppliers
We have selected only those suppliers who can supply products that can be easily
sold abroad. We don’t want to sell products that you cannot sell. Based on our experience
matured during the last 4 years, we have taken into consideration a number of factors,
including:
- Reliability: can they always deliver the correct items, in good condition
and on time?
- Responsiveness: can we always get timely responses to possible problems and
inquiries?
- Stability: is it economically secure to do business with them?
- Competitiveness: are their prices competitive?
- Partnering: can we work with them in creative ways to build a relationship
that benefits both us and them?
- Food Safety Management and Total Quality Control: Do they implement HACCP
and any other certified system of quality control management?
The Products
We have selected only those products that we believe you can easily sell. During
the selection, we evaluate the product using a four-step process which takes into
consideration the following aspects of the product:
- Purity: what ingredients the product is made from? What about preservatives
and antioxidants?
- Value: is the quality/price ratio high enough for our standard?
- Packaging and Labeling: can the packaing fully protect and mantain the product
during the transport? Does the packaging add value to the product? Can the ingredient's
label be localized in all languages supported by our website? Is the nutritional
information label localized at least in English for deliveries in the United States?
